Quota Carindale visits Wishart Village

This afternoon the members of Quota Carindale were accompanied by students of Cannon Hill Anglian College and visited Wishart Village.

The students provided an arrangement of musical items and this was followed by afternoon tea which is supplied by the members of Quota.

The residents thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment.

While we were there it was a pleasure to sing Happy Birthday to Lila who turns 100 on Monday 9 September.  It is hard to imagine all the changes that she has witnessed during her life to date.

Hails and Farewells

What a month of comings and goings here at Carindale!

We have welcomed Liane to our group to join with us in supporting our local charities and in the fun and fellowship we have in the process.  We wish her many years of enjoyment and enrichment.

Sadly Sheila has left us after over 22 years of service to enjoy her retirement on the Sunshine Coast.  We wish her well and have suggested that she needs to keep the kettle handy as we drop in to share our Quota stories with her.
